The Nephilim Chapter 1

This is the first part of my story The Nephilim. It's a FullMetal Alchemist fic, Roy/Ed, but mostly focusses on two original characters, David and Jonathan.

Flirting With John

I don't really know what brought this on, but I just got a mental image in my head and I just HAD to share it.

I was picturing John in a bar, sitting and drinking, when this stranger comes up to him and says, "So tell me, Beautiful, did it hurt when you fell from heaven?"

John turns to him and, with a straight face, replies, "Yes. Yes it did. There was ... there was so much blood ... and the screams ..."

The stranger backs away slowly, then takes off at a run. John bursts out laughing.
